Elephant Hill - Jan 2021
Sze Shan 獅山 322m and Cheung Shan 象山449 and Fu Shan 虎山 75m are considered as the guardians of Tai O Village. This is not a famous route to most casual hikers but a very well-known hiking trail to the experienced ones. Not that hard, easy and recommended for beginners. The hike begin at Lin Yang Monastery bus stop. There is a concrete stairs on the side. Follow the ribbons attached to the trees, and grass. Some of grass are tall, be careful of the dry branches. You can see the mountain landscape of South Lantau Country Parks.

|Will passed by Sze Shan first, and some rock formation. The Chicken Rock and Dog’s Rock. Can climb the rock and enjoy a nice scenery.|
|Continue and will pass by the Elephant Hill, nice view of Tai O and the Macau-HK-Zuhai Bridge. Descend via North Lantau Obelisk.|
|Walk toward the fishing village, and can continue to hike Fu Shan.|

Distance Post: Lantau Trail Section 10 L100 (Shui Hau start point) - L027 (Ngong Ping) Lantau Trail Section 3 or L018 (Pak Kung Au)
Supply: No supply station along the trail, make sure to bring enough snacks and refreshments. Can buy drinks and food in Tai O village.
How to get there:
From Mui Wo: Take the ferry to Mui Wo from Central (Pier 6) Take bus no. 1 and drop off at Lin Yang Monastery Bus Stop Station.
From Tung Chung: Tung Chung Station walk towards Lantau bus station, take bus no.11. Drop off at Lin Yang Monastery Bus Stop.
