Lo Fu Tau - Jan 2021
Lo Fu Tau is the mountain that lies behind Discovery Bay on Lantau Island, so named for its similarity to the head of a tiger. The Lo Fu Tau Country Trail boosts the amazing view of Lantau Island, seas of silver grass, and unique rock formation.
| Start from Mui Wo Ferry Pier walk towards Silvermine Waterfall via Pak Ngan Heung Village |

| Walk uphill, and you’ll pass a cave, continue and follow the Olympic Trail |

| You’ll reach a junction with a resting area, there’s a sign that said Lo Fu Tau Country Trail. |

| There will be rock formation along the trail, continue to walk and you will reach the summit and viewing point. Don’t forget to see the Tiger’s Head overlooking Discovery Bay. |

| Head down the trail, this is a bit challenging, there’s a lot of gravels and loose sands. |

| Pass by some vegetation area, and the trail will be combination of stairs and trail. |

| Then, you’ll reach the residential area of Discovery Bay, head to the main square where you can enjoy some refreshment or take the ferry to Central or bus to Tung Chung. |
